The Black Sage (Mugwort) is much stronger than the White Sage & is best used for smudging & can be extremely helpful for inner healing, divination, crystal gazing, astral traveling, & inducing vivid dreams.
BLACK SAGE is used to encourage dreams & visions. It is an herb of introspection & inner healing. When burnt before bedtime, it aids in restful sleep and pleasant dreams. It aids in protection during astral travel & shamanic journeying.

Smudging is ritual alchemy — changing & shifting the air element & transforming our current experience to a mystical one.
💙Any conflict, anger, illness, or evil was absorbed by the smoke to be released or cleansed from the energy field of a person or space.
💙 Burn the smudge stick & hold a fireproof bowl under it (traditionally, abalone shell is used). Also, set up a cup of water to extinguish it after the ritual.
⚠️Use caution at all times.
💙Open every door & window in your house.
💙Light the stick & when it catches fire, blow it out & allow the embers to start to smoke (like you would light incense).
💙Set your intention for each room. Say a prayer of cleansing. Laurie Sue suggested, “I cleanse this room of any impurities, negativity, or anything that does not suit or support the people that live here.”
💙Walk around the room, waving the sage stick directing the smoke into corners, along walls, around windows, & along ceiling lines. As you do, imagine the smoke absorbing negativity, problems from those who were in the space before you, toxicity & anything else you want to go away. See the smoke dissipating & floating out the windows & imagine bad energy flowing out of your space, making room for positive, fresh energy.
💙After you’ve blessed every room(starting from the last room to the entrance of the house), give yourself a smoke shower. Cup your hands over the smoke and “wash” your face with it, then wave it all over your body as you would in a water shower. Visualize any residual negativity sailing out of your body, home & into oblivion.
💙Extinguish the stick in the cup of water or if your stick was very small or is almost done, bury it in the earth.
